A collection of 14 poems that take from the elements of water, air, fire and earth. The poems concern depression, impact of trauma and history of childhood abuse over everyday life, relationships, and the struggle for self-love. They are reminders, memories, and series of overwhelming emotions. Intimately written by myself as a means of coping with my past and a way to connect with people who have been through similar feelings that the poems would invoke upon reading them. Here's to you, here's to us, here's to surviving.
